In last week's poll we asked you whether you're going to get the Equestria Girls Happy Meal toys. An overwhelming 33.6% is planning to get them all and another 15.6% will get at least one doll at McDonalds. Another big percentage (22.6%) will get one of them when they happen to be at a McDonalds, but will not plan a trip to get one of the toys. And 23.5% says that they will not get any, either because they don't like them or not want to eat at McDonalds.

We're trying to post sales on MLP merch about once every month, so it got time that we released another sale shopping list for Amazon! Below we've listed the current My Little Pony items that are on sale with interesting percentage off (25-60%) including Funko, Equestria Girls, Plush, POP ponies, brushables and miscellaneous stuff! An Italian company called Image Edizioni has released two lines of MLP magnet blind bags this month called the 'My Little Pony Silver Magnet Collection'. The blind bags contain either a big magnet or 3 smaller magnets based around one pony with a total of 30 magnets. Weirdly enough they released both a Rainbow Power and Cutie Mark Magic line at the same time, but probably there are different magnets in each series. In the promo shot it seems like only the mane 6 is included, but we'd have to see a checklist to be sure.
Image Edizioni seems to be a very Italian-oriented company without many international releases, but you never know (look at Panini for example)! The packs are available for €2.50 each.

There are currently two more sales going on in the US! Toys"R"Us has a sweet 25% off Equestria Girls dolls, both in their stores and online. (Know that Amazon also has some Equestria Girls deals that might be cheaper).
Another sale is that of Five Below, which has the Rainbow Shimmer Princess Celestia and Princess Luna on sale, as well as the Zoom 'n' Go Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. They're all $5 each, which is incredibly cheap, especially for the Rainbow Shimmer Princesses, who are pretty new.

A most unfortunate packaging error has occurred at Hasbro: A Cheerilee brushable from the Rainbow Power series has been packaged on the cardboard packaging of Holly Dash. Holly Dash is one of the sought after Rainbow Power ponies that never released in the US due to unknown reasons. This error release could have been a printing error in the factory, but it indicates that the Holly Dash backcards were available for release at the time this Cheerilee was produced. Even though the releases are from different waves, they could have been produced at the same time, in the same factory.
We don't know what went wrong exactly, but this error would have been nicer the other way around!
Cheerilee was spotted in Texas, but it's currently unknown if she's the only one with this error.

We just found something odd on Taobao: new bagged brushables that seem to be a mix of Rainbow Power and Cutie Mark Magic ponies with their default mane colors. Instead of the bright neon colors in their hair all ponies have their regular colors and there is no tinsel either. We can't fully see all decorations, but Fluttershy seems to have her Rainbow Power style, while Twilight Sparkle has the same decorations as Cutie Mark Magic. Rarity seems to be based on Rainbow Power release, but with less decoration. Neither of these ponies come with a charm nor Cutie Mark Magic packaging.
Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Applejack either have no decorations or their non-display sides are photographed. We hope to find more clear images soon!

Bagged brushables have been a new introduction in 2014 and were only available at Target for a while. They have less eye detail and no packaging besides the bag, keeping the price low and making these cheaper than other brushables.

Over the past few months we've gotten tons of questions about this, and I think it's time to make a full post about it: The last releases of Rainbow Power that have not yet been released in the US. There are a few factors that could have caused that, but it will remain speculation as nothing has been confirmed yet. The ponies that are missing are Holly Dash and Rarity from the Wave 2 Rainbow Power Neon Singles and Applejack and Daisy Dreams from the Wave 3 Rainbow Power Fashion Styles.
(Possibly the Wave 2 Rainbow Shimmer ponies Twilight Sparkle and Princess Cadance are missing too)

Fakies really come in every size and shape. This packaging once again proves that, and also that fakie producers are really trying to play in on the My Little Pony market by forging logo's, but also packaging shapes and styles. The box's style and shape almost perfectly resemble the Rainbow Power Styling Strands and Rainbow Helicopter boxes. Of course there are plenty of factors that don't match, like the Rainbow Dash vector with ponies that are clearly not Rainbow Dash (more like pegasus Pinkie Pie) and the copied Crystal Empire logo on the box instead of Rainbow Power.
In addition to these vectors there are always the funny promotional lines. With an exceptionally funny name for Rarity: Likeability Pony. Also mentioned is "Special Style. First Grade Product" and "Just Can Be Movable". The brand this was released under is My Lovely Merry, a fakie brand that has been releasing mainly G3-styled fakies in G4 boxes and various EqG fakies as My Lovely Merry: Rainbow Girls.

While looking through the Canadian Amazon Website we came across this Funrise Ponyville ox Set. This set contains five 5 inch Funrise Plush including a limited Edition Lyra. It also comes with a Rainbowfied Applejack and Pinkie Pie, and Twilight Sparkle and Cheerilee as well.

The listing says's this set is retired but most of us haven't seen it before. It;s also a it unlikely because it's Rainbow Power which line Funrise is still making plush of. Take the Christmas Plushies as an example.

Ah I remember these things. I used to have one as a kid. What I'm talking about is this Wiggly Water Tube or Water Weenie or Water Snakes whatever you like to call them. It turns out that the company called Blip Toys (also known for the MLP Cameo's/Pencil Toppers) has decided to make a My Little Pony themed Wiggly Water Tube. It is Rainbow Power themed.

As so far we don't have an exact store where to find these, but since the cameo's were found at Target I believe that's a good place to start! If you find them please let us know so we can update this post.

Here's something interesting we found on the Italian Amazon. It looks like a christmas stocking featuring the Mane Six in their Rainbow Power forms. But you might wonder, why is their a witch on the packaging? (Oh and where's Applejack?)

Well apparently "La Befana" is a traditional Italian Holiday. On the night of 5 to 6 January a witch named La Befana visits the homes of the children. Those who are nice will get presents in their stockings, the ones who were naughty that year will receive some coal. The children will also leave a plate with a mandarin and orange and they also prepare a glass of wine for her. The next morning she will leave an hand print in ash on the plate. And most of the times she also leaves a small amount of coal and ashes because no one could be a 100% brave.

So there's the origin of La Befana. It's a lot similar to Christmas and Sinterklaas from the Netherlands. You can order it for 22 euros on the Italian Amazon here. I think it's also very nicely suited for a Christmas stocking!

Last week we reported on the release of the Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight Sparkle Fashion Style 2-Pack in Singapore, but we finally have an official listing with stock images as well!
Over on the Toys"R"Us Singapore website the listing received a price of  59.90 Singapore Dollars (US$48), so that confirms the in-store price.
The stock images also confirm that Princess Celestia indeed has no shoes (not even printed on).

The product code of this set is B2576, which is odd for a Rainbow Power release. Cutie Mark Magic products have received much product codes much earlier. It remains a mystery why this set is part of the Rainbow Power line instead of Cutie Mark Magic.

 Our enthusiasm might have been a bit too early when 4 days ago we posted that Holly Dash has been listed on the HasbroToyShop website. 2 Days after this listing she has been removed completely and can't be found anymore. We even waited another day to see if she'd return, but sadly she didn't.
Oddly enough she is still listed on the Hasbro.com website, but that simply states that she is not available online and redirects you to a generic store finder. Her Amazon US listing is still up as well.
The sudden removal of her listing gives only more doubt about whether she and Rainbow Power Rarity will stay international exclusive figures, as they have been out for months.

The new line of Rainbow Power single brushables has been a topic of discussion for the last few months as they appeared in the UK, Asia and Canada over 2 months ago and the US is still waiting for their release. We finally see some action on Hasbro's side with an official listing of the Holly Dash Brushable at HasbroToyShop. Before that we've only seen an unavailable listing at Amazon of her. The listing at Hasbro's own webshop lacks a release date, but at least this is an indication that this wave of brushables will not be an international exclusive wave, something that many feared. We expect to see an actual release date soon and hopefully store releases too!
The listing over at HasbroToyShop also states that she is 'Available in US Only', which is ironic, but probably means that she will not be shipped outside of the US from HasbroToyShop.
This brushable ponies wave also contains Rarity, but she has not been listed yet.
